About The Program

The Australia General Skilled Worker Visas are determined by a points system; a minimum of 65 to qualify. Points are awarded for:

  • Age
  • Work experience
  • Education
  • Level of English
  • Past work experience in Australia

While points are no longer awarded for specific occupations, one must have an occupation on the Skilled Occupation List (SOL) and have their skills assessed in their nominated occupation.
